....is we all believed in Once Upon a Time.....and Lived Happily Ever After. Interesting drug, the one they gave us as kids.
Anyway, we were all muppets for believing that crap and we are muppets still for still wanting to believe in it. AND we peddle it to our own kids. Amazing.
Love is all in the mind, a figment of the imagination. A triumph of fantasy over reality.
Very few men and women are capable of true fidelity (I am, though possibly only through the lack of opportunity-actually that is not true, there have been opps, just loved my wife too much to follow them up, wish she,d felt the same).
So I guess we just have to learn to live with the devil, that or just simply give up. I have pretty much given up now. Just counting the days and wishing I didn,t feel like this. And I suppose there is the hook, believing in the lie of love at least feels good.
Falling in love is like getting drunk, you will pay the price one day for sure.
