Needful things?

Dear blog;
My first entry sucked ... I'll try to better this one. The profile pages allow 2 sentences to describe you, and what kind of relationship you want; also in2 sentences. Here are my Faqs; hopefully to give more clues than a face and a quote.

I) I crave intimacy, but only with someone I'm used to being with.
2) I love classic rock; The Stones, Aerosmith, Zeppelin, etc.
3) Barney the purple dinosaur and Spongebob Squarepants frighten me.
4) Anyone who enjoys hunting doesn't stand a chance with me.
5 Neither do the proverbial rednecks.
6) I don't want to die alone.
7) I do not like green eggs and ham.
8) I had a 5 year long distance correspondence with a very famous actor ... meeting him in person was a HUGE mistake. I loved him, but it was unrequited love - he is a"serial dater".
9) My favorite tv show is "House".
10 Hagen~Dazs is better than sex.
11) If "Mr. Right"comes along, I won't need Hagen ~ Dazs.
12) I'm sick of Ramen noodle soup, but can't afford "real food".
13) I used to have a motorcycle.
14) I sang in a rock-roll band named "Pandora's box".
15) Please don't assume I'm a sex fiend ... sex sells, but rarely lasts. My profile pics are eye candy, and nothing more.
16) I swore off men after giving birth to a full term, stillborn baby boy, and I nearly died from hypovolemic shock ... while "Dad" chose to spend the night at some girl's house.
17) if, when the right man crosses paths with me, the chemistry will be explosive - I just know it! comfort ~Gypsy~

Pleased to meet you ... I hope!

Here I go (again) I used to consider myself a hopeful romantic, until I delved into the world of internet dating. Romantic is my nature, and hopeful is that empty part of my life that needs to be shared with someone. I used to judge a book by its cover only after reading it, but I've been finding mostly blank pages, lately. Back in the day, personal ads catered to those unable to find anyone the old fashioned way; for good reason. Along came the internet, and with it came the ability to be whoever you want to be ... as opposed to who you really are. I hope to meet "who you really are"... but how can a photo and two sentences convince me - or anyone else that you're worth looking into? (assuming the photo really is the same person who wrote their profile) Call me jaded; with just enough hope to keep looking for that proverbial pony. I already have a pretty good life ... I just want to find someone to share it with. Someone who isn't married, or pathologically incapable of being honest; with themselves, or anyone else. Humor is my "drug of choice" for dealing with whatever life throws at me ... does anyone remember laughter?
