Things taken for granted
My eyes where opened a few months ago about everything in life that I took for granted.
It was the simplest things too. Sitting down, reading a book, taking a real shower, wearing clean clothes, sleeping til i wanted to wake up, being treated like a human being, being with family, etc.
I never knew that i took any of those things for granted. I guess it's true when people say that you never really know what you have til it's gone.
It made me appreciate every little thing i did that much more.
It's weird, because now that I have those simple things back...i don't want to over use them, i guess you could say, because i never know when they're gonna be taken away.
