Issues with kids changing over time/funny
I recently read a discipline workbook from about 30 years ago. My mother had used it in her parenting days. Well, as I read through it I got some very interesting advice. According to the book, sometimes people need thier privacy when they're on the phone. It's important for family members to respect this, and the family should do the best they can to offer a quiet and private atmosphere. Well, this is where it gets interesting------ The book advises that if this becomes and issue in your home, you should REALLY consider taking action, and go get a longer phone cord!!!!! 
It really struck me how different the issues were when people my age were kids... Back then cell phones pretty much didn't exist. You might want to share this one with your kids- pretty funny.
