From time immortal women have wondered, “Is this man truly in love with me, or am I just his passing fancy?” Things must have been much easier in the Victorian Era when a man and woman exchanged love letters. No man would waste that much time penning a letter stating his intentions to just any woman. Only a man in love would write the beautiful love letters of that era.
Now that letter writing has long since come to and end it is not always as easy to know the true intentions of men. If you pay close attention to some important body language it will give you a clearer idea if your man is truly in love with you.
A man in love spends a lot of time looking into the eyes of his lady. He spends time in long lingering glances into your eyes. When he is with you, if he is truly in love, he will make eye contact with you as often as possible. If he spends the majority of his time looking at and into the eyes of every other woman in the room this is not the behavior of a man in love.
Notice how often he takes your hand in public and how he holds it. A man who is in love will intertwine his fingers with yours and doesn’t let go of your hand easily. If he barely touches your hand or when you grab his hand he lets go quickly, that is a really good sign that you are simply friends at this stage of the game.
When sitting together he should be turning his body slightly in towards you. If he turns away or if he simply sits stiffly looking straightforward he is not exhibiting the body language of a man that really loves you.
Watch how he holds his hands when sitting near you. Does he tend to sit with his hands in his lap with the palms down? That indicates that he is not as honest and open about his true feelings as a man whose hands are palms up and animated when in an intimate conversation with you.
When you are talking about sensitive subjects does he frequently close his eyes? That is a sign of a man who has difficulty dealing with expressing his feelings of negativity. Instead, by closing his eyes, he subconsciously closes you off. Remember the old saying that the eyes are the windows to the soul. A man in love looks directly at you with wide-open eyes.
When you are thinking of the body language of a man in love think about a cute friendly puppy. Puppies have no reservations about running up to you, giving you a kiss and jumping into your lap. A man in love should light up like a puppy when he sees you and giving you a kiss, sit down cheerfully next to you.
If women paid more attention to what men do and not so much to what they say they would soon be able to rule out the ones that are players from the ones who will stay. Paying attention to a man’s body language should quickly tell you everything you want to know regarding his true feelings of love towards you.
