UNDERSTANDING...
Hi, I'm new here but not in the online dating scenario...and just trying to understand why is so hard for a man to be honest and just say..."good bye"..."move on"..."take care"...I've been talking with a guy for exactly 4 months...the guy used to text me about at least 50 times a day and we used to chat every night on Yahoo...he was talking about coming to see me in 2 weeks and he was worried about what we gonna do after that...prolly I should be the one to move from FL to PA...
Well, the guy just disappeared since last Friday...I tried some contact but with no response...WHY???
Guys, please, give me a clue...can not really understand that kind of attitude...

Well, YES...we were going really good...and he was ALWAYS the one to show more interest in keep going with that LDR, no matter what...he was "present" in my daily life, since from 8:00am with a "good morning" until we both say 'good night'...

HI UNDERSTANDING,
It's not really accurate to lump all men into the "Why is it so hard for a man to be honest" bowl. Please just look at the man you were communicating with. I don't know why the dude just disappeared, I suppose he had no real integrity or he has been detained, injured or worse. I had a similar experience with a lady from Russia and her last email read like this "I'm going to get the invitation for you to come here and I will start knitting your jacket to wear." That was 6-8 weeks ago and I have not been able to contact her for nearly 2 months. Her last email came on the day I met with my travel agent to make the arrangements to fly to Russia. It really is heartbreaking for this to happen with no closure. It has left me kind of in the lurch if you know what I mean. I'm sorry you are experiencing the pain of not knowing. However on a brighter note there is a blessing in all of this. When you overcome the pain you will emerge on the other side of this experience with a new understanding of the mindset of the man with whom you have been communicating. Which will allow you better communication in the future. Question before I go: Have you considered what will you do if he contacts you again in a few days? Think on this. Michael from Dallas

This is the internet and a LOT of people are not even what they say they are. They ditch at the last moment, because they don't want you to discover the truth about them.

Thank you, Michael. And I apologize about what I said...better saying..."why people do that?". I really appreciate your comment and I don't know what I'm gonna do if he contact me in the future. He must have a good reason for what he did...
