I'm not young but my hair is quite long....as it always has been, only much longer in my younger days. Here in Spain, most middle-aged women retain their long tresses regardless of age and I don't feel out of place, but when I work in Russia I am an oddity because there, I have been told, once a woman hits 35 the hair is shorn!
I have very long hair and can't imagine clipping my locks short, but 30 years from now, I may very well say "Bah! Why waste an additional hour in front of the mirror each morning when I could spend that hour smelling the roses!"
Besides I wore it waist length for many years and it is nice not to get tired brushing it.
or the things where people guess someones age
short hair is better as one gets older
im not saying a crew cut
but the face falls a bit
the lines of long hair on either side just drag it down
its all lines
duh
but depending-shoulders or an inch or two below isnt short
also ive known many guys that like it
and i wear mine mussed-very punkish
so its usually somewhat short
if its long its 2 or 3 colors..?
to generalize makes one seem inexperienced
or uninterested in experience...
Hair is like teeth - you got it, care for it!
I can't send you mail so will just say what a wonderful lady you are
I will never have short hair because the last time that I had my hair cut just above shoulder length "girl style hair cut" this guy that came to my door to try to sell me something said to me "excuse me sir would you like to buy this product" He just lost a sale...lol When he realized that he made a mistake he said sorry....I thought "to late"...lol
I knew this older lady, she was 65. She had long hair, just above the middle of her back. Beautiful silver hair that she always tied up into a ponytail. I thought this made her attractive. She would not have looked the same with short hair.
I tried cutting mine short thinking it would look more "sophisticated" on me but it really didn't look or feel right. Some women look great with cute, short hair cuts but I think some do not and look better perhaps with the hair pinned back or in a longer style.
and to colour and care for hair is expensive, so pensioners keep it short and simple saving time, saving money... practical approach
*Long Hair is simply lovely & *Short Hair that is Spiked to the Rafters is cool. It Rocks just like NYC during a Brian Seacrest Rockin' New Year's Eve Celebration in the Middle of Manhattan! My Platinium Locks are currently short, but I am currently in the process of growing back my Swishy Pony Tail so that I may wear a large black ribbon just to be Young at Heart...
dancing: Just too Cool, dude!

When I went in to get my hair cut I asked the hairdresser if I could pull the look off, and she reassured me that it all comes down to attitude. I love my hair now and enjoy the fact that it is so easy to deal with.
