`No snowflake ever falls in the wrong spot'.
Most of us would agree with this statement when thing are good ...when we meet the right person, land the right job, or get a great seat at the show because someone else just canceled. But what about when times are difficult, or challenging? What about when we lose that job, or loved one, or when things go wrong and there's no money to pay the bills? Do we still believe all is as it should be?
I'd clipped this quote several months ago, and held onto it. I didn't know why at the time, that even though I loved the quote, I could never find the additional words to write. I now know. This week threw some difficult challenges at me, and as I asked the heavens for understanding, those words suddenly came to mind. `No snowflake ever falls in the wrong spot'. Was it true? Yes. Unequivocally. Even in times of disappointment and sorrow, if we continue to look for wisdom, our eyes will open to the beauty of the snow as it falls into our lives ... each crystallized raindrop drifting into the perfect spot within the puzzle of our lives. And just like a jigsaw puzzle, without each and every piece, there would be no completed picture - our lives would be left missing moments of joy, moments of overcoming, moments of completion, and moments of peace.
We do not always know why things happen - we cannot see the whole picture just yet. But each piece - each moment, each person, each day - is a part of the perfection of our life. We only need to hear the whisper of the snowflakes falling into place ... and then we can look forward with the peace and understanding that all is, indeed, as it should be. And to live each day with grace and joy.
With love & gratitude always ...
If you remember one thing this year, remember this ... this moment will never, ever come again. The moment to decide something, to do something, to change something ... that moment is here - right now. What will you use it for?
