One More Try

I decided to give this another go after I thought about how miserable I'd be if I didn't give it a shot. I tried a couple of days ago and chickened out.

It's so hard to fathom dating. Three years now that I've been alone and I would so much love to meet the woman I've always dreamed of.

So, I'll try to stay open to possibilities. Kind of a late years' resolution.

The problem with some of us artistic types is that we tend to be a bit on the shy side. Probably not something I'm going to entirely conquer. My self-esteem took a few serious hits three years ago. If you've been seriously hurt, you know that feeling.

Taking a big step here. One that's been a long time coming, I suppose.

Yes i can totally relate to what your saying. I had my heart broke........shattered........and it took 4 years to heal it.

I have also been alone for 6 years. I have one big problem though.
I just don't trust anyone, especially a man. I home some day that will change, but for now i just have to go with it.

I only let someone into my life so far, then i push them away, it is easier than getting hurt again. I don't want to be alone, but for now that is just how it is.

I hope you find what your looking for.
If i have to live alone for the rest of my life i will do just that.
No one ever will hurt me again. I will make sure of that.

As a poet, I've had my heart broken several times and each time it has taken a year or more to heal. I've been seriously hurt but yet somehow, I've always managed to get back on that horse. I've found it far better for bonding where that person does come along.

Dating is never easy.We have to go through so many wrongs to get to the right....

Courage is falling off the horse and getting back on anyway.
