this guy likes me has told every one but me why?

I belong to a social club and for over two years now this guy has told every one he is smitten and constantly over there mixing with the friends i am with , we talk and have a giggle, yet it never gets past that its driving me nuts. I joined on this site and have had a better response in four weeks than with him!!!!

His friends tell me all the time he is wanting to take you out I know he even went out with another and broke it off because she was not me ???

I have done every thing in a way to say i am interested with out saying it to him as i know he is very shy and he likes to make the first move

I have another problem now another in the club is making a play and this could be interesting as his brother thinks i should give up on him and date the other as it could wake him up i am not so sure??

Well it is quite obvious that when it comes to this guy progress is a slow process. I think that instead of hinting you should just tell him straight up that you are interested because some men are slow at picking up hints. hinting with a guy is hopeless. As for his brother's idea, that might not go so well. What if that makes him think that you are not interested in him and then he gives up on you. You dont want to start off something based on game playing and mind games. You also dont want to lead this other guy on and eventually break his heart. And as for his brother, if he wants to be so useful why doesnt he tell him whats going on so that he can seal the deal.
