Rain In Summer
Its Raining in this blazing summer
Bringing the fresh smell of the earth
Like you come to my life
Bringing the freshness to my barren thoughts
Could seethe majestic clouds
Blue and swollen with water
Ready to pour in with passion
Just to bring back the life
From the parched ground
Like you did for my life
I could see the silver streaks
Of the lighting
Above the gloomy skies
Like I saw you when
Everything around me was dark
I could see the willows dancing to
The cool breeze with boundless gay
Like my mind when touched by
Your soothing love
Its raining and want to catch those drops
For a sheer childish joy
Just thinking of getting wet
Holding you under an umbrella
And sharing the your warmth
But I know. its just you and me
And the vastness in between
My dreams are like a dried grass
Gone with a slightest of breeze
But only to come back to life
If only touched by you
Like this summer rain does
