Superb list but even though I 've read it twice I still can't find Chinatown, Once upon a time in the West, The French Connexion, Pulp Fiction or even one of the Indianas? After the first fifty they must have slipped your mind so you're forgiven!peace

Nope. Just a difference in opinion. Although I admit, I haven't seen some of those movies you cited.

Wow but thats some collection of films.

For a man with such a great sense of humour, what about a Peter Sellers film (Dr Strangelove/ Return of the Pink Panther) or a Mel Brooks Film (Blazing Saddles) in the top 50 ?rolling on the floor laughing

Whoah, my celtic friend;-now you're talking! Even Sellers' earlier films ( Lavender Hill Mob etc), have got to be rated. I guess it's just like our author said,"a matter of opinion". The trouble with lists is that they need elastic walls,........ but they still bring back a lot of great memories!head banger
