I stand in this sunset
Rappling the waves across
In this vast ocean of my life
Your face ripples in mind
to pleasure me
and out again
an image lost
only to splash onto my shoreof life
clear as a beached shell
I listen down to the tide
hoping to hear your breath
but its softness drowns
in the waning cry
lurching on the bars of waves
stretched across the murmur
Each waves trashing the shore
