Coded messages dot dot dash dash

Spying each other from a distant glance
was there hope was there chance.
Dreams would shatter or dreams would be
either broken hearts or vivid reality.
A step too far was it so wrong
to pursue burning feelings they'd held back for so long.
Eyes gaze each other for the very first tryst
powerful energies that could not resist.
The scent of her fragrance which trailed in her wake

It was worth the secrecy planning they did
from prying eyes together they hid.
Clandestine meals in hotel suites
hand in hand walking on deserted streets.
Covering their tracks with perfect distraction
fighting the senses of mesmeric attaction.
They live for the moments the future can wait
