Brave Coward
Contrary to popular belief and knowledge
Love is not in opposition of hate verbiage.
Lust is Hate's polar, as Love's opposite
Is cold indifference, sarcasm in wit.
Love takes the courage to open your heart
To another's intentions from the start.
One must love "Self" before loving another
Soul searching integrity and honor.
Many emotions with descriptive words
Go hand-in-hand with the bees and birds.
Respect, understanding, common interests and goals
Kindred spirits in essence, compatible souls.
Unconditional love should always be given,
No boundaries or limits, LOVE you believe in.
Expectations and rules are not of a love that is true,
They are control of another, consequences of due.
Love with all you are and ever could be,
Open your mind and spirit completely.
Hatred is bound in ignorance and deception
Easier than to forgive without condition.
The path of least resistance is cold and lonely
Begets diatribes of bitter matrimony.
For hatred is the result of extreme pride.
Harming thy Self when this your ego decides,
To give to any life force that exists,
Years in madness continue to persist
In building walls of steel about your essence.
Placing love on a shelf by your own impotence.
Hate is easy…
Love takes courage and unconditional forgiveness.
