I was watching TNA last night they got some whole drama thing about the Legends passing the torch to the young guys. Guy said we are going to make you pass the torch and such. That happens a lot in today's churches Jobs etc.
Well, world works different from the things of God and God's calling methods. What did Elisha do?? He became Elijah's attendant in respect, he didn't get Elijah in the stf and say tap boy give me your call boy move!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same thing with Joshua and Moses there was total respect there and reason God used the two afterwards was (((only))) because of the respect.
And for the called there has to be a two way respect in anything. In order to get respect you have to give it. I done that for the longest time even when I was mocked and insulted. I done it to respect to the Lord not to the one's before me.
God looks at motives people like it or not.
This whole replace teaching puts fire in my bones and truly ticks the Lord off. Say I say well I'm better than John Haggee, I'm going to replace him in the things of God. God would say you little arrogant loser your doing nothing unless its on your own power. And further more that man has done great things for the Lord (((no one))) can take from him. God doesn't approve of such arrogance or motive and will ((never)) call someone with it.
I know the Lord on a personal level He is a God that demands respect not given your not getting it. The humble He exults the arrogant as the Bible says over and over he laughs and well humble pie time. You can't take someone's call unless you address that person in respect and God speaks to them for that reason. This other mess you talk is non sense.
