Best New Years Ever!! IHOP 2008 four day conferenc

I went to Kansas City (home of International House Of Prayer) on a whim to check it out and was blown away. There were 15,000 sold out, on fire Christians at this conference. I've never seen anything like it. They have a focus on music and the praise teams were just excellent. The music never stops in the Prayer Room, each team does about a two hour set. A lot of music on Christian radio starts to sound the same, and their style was just so refreshing. As good as any secular music. I would urge everybody to check out their website ihop.org and see if your city has a local IHOP.

Just want to add that their main prayer focus right now is ending the human trafficking/sex slavery rings that operate mainly in the Asian/Pacific Rim countries. This is the worst possible type of slavery possible. These girls are raped repeatedly every single day, with no hope of a better life. They have started a project called "Exodus" to try to help if you want to get involved.

but they do suggest prayer topics and they can be followed anywhere

First of all, the biggest sex slave network on the planet isn't in Asia at all.

It involves young women from the former Soviet republics and its run out of Tel Aviv.

Second,
I checked out the IHOP video at Youtube.
It's so "culty" it gave me goose bumps.
