Women's Tears Turn Men Off confused
No, it does not indicate you are weak... I think it is good to cry now and then, even for a man...teddybear
That's what I meant, a release of negative thoughts.. allows us to move on .. I'm not sure whether a man is turned off by a womans tears.. guess hat's a question for the boys innocent
do you think that women cry because they are alive most of the time?
I cry every time I have to chop onion ...
heck, no use of having a barbecue with out onions
For me tears are a sign of strenght actually. When a man cries it means he is well aware of himself and his capabilities that he doesn't need to hide his emotions. So because he is so strong, he is able to show his own weakness. And that takes courage.
@Boban1...When you cut an onion, it releases a gas called, ready for this, Propanethiol S-oxide. When mixed with certain enzymes in the onion, it creates a sulfur gas. These gases then get to your eyes and create a mild acid which irritates the eyes.
Normally, your body would signal you to close your eyes. This, of course, is not a good idea if you are cutting an onion. The next best thing your eyes can do is to make tears to protect the eyes. Rubbing your eyes is a bad idea, since your hands are likely full of the tear making onion juice. So how do you keep from tearing up? There are many theories out there. I've heard some have had luck burning a candle near the chopping site. (Don't try that without an adult.) Wearing safety goggles, however, should reduce the tears every time.thumbs up
Well...if you dont cry it will come out through your ears, eyes or mouth somehow...lol at least tears are silent and dont hurt anyone else..
Horses will shed a tear..
Crying is most definately not a 'weakness'. It is a neccessary healing process and relieves stresses/tension. It is not healthy for people to suppress the need to cry, this in turn can lead to other psychological and physiological changes. It is only Society in the medieval times that taught men in particular that they shouldn't cry. Good blog.

Crying is the mirror of our emotions
For women, people might said, our tears are also our strength...
as we can release our emotions, whatever emotions they are...
crying
Tears releases all your pains..
Teaches us to be strong in a way.
We are humans, we have the 5 senses.
But woman cries more... Now am in tears

@Delatude : Crying is the mirror of our emotions.

reason why crying is good, according to Prof Cooper, is that it acts as a signal to others to help us. “If you show emotions with tears, other people will probably comfort us, which helps us to feel better, the worst thing you can do is to stifle a cry because if you bury sad or hurtful emotions, they won’t vanish – they’ll just fester and come out as anger or bitterness, which over time will make you feel a lot worse.“ I've seen medical journals that have shown how repressed emotions can weaken your immune system over time and lead to heightened stress levels,”.“Plus, if you always soldier on secretly feeling overburdened or silently seething, how will your loved ones ever know that you need help?”
So why are people so ashamed to cry? Prof Cooper thinks it’s because it’s been drummed into us that crying is a sign of weakness or even seen as unprofessional.“Men in particular are told from a young age that ‘big boys don’t cry’. It’s seen as being weak and feminine.“For women, crying is a little more accepted but it can be seen as unprofessional in the workplace or even manipulative.“A woman may worry about crying at work because she may be seen to not be up to the job, not coping or simply unprofessional,”“The best way to deal with a workplace well-up is to go to the toilets – or perhaps step outside for some fresh air – with a trusted colleague.”However, he adds that while crying occasionally is one thing it’s not good to do it too much.“It’s healthy to cry under certain circumstances but don’t do it too often and never fake it to try and get your own way – you’ll end up being found out pretty quickly.”But studies have also shown that tears can improve eyesight by preventing dehydration. So the next time you feel your bottom lip quivering, just give in to it and make sure you have a little weep.

You’ll be much healthier and less stressed as a result.thumbs up
