where's buffalo bob and clara the cow?

Another Christmas has come and gone. But, do you remember your first Christmas? Do you remember much about when you could first speak? Yeah, me neither. But, I do remember this. Sometime in my early childhood, my mother told me what it was that I first answered when asked what I wanted for Christmas. It was 1953. I was almost age two. When Mom asked what I would like for Christmas, I answered "doody"...For those too young to know, there once was a television show that starred a red haired, freckle faced marionnette named "Howdy Doody". The Howdy Doody Show.

Hedi, I was born in 1960 so don't remember Howdy Doody but of course, have heard of it. By the way, I don't like the holidays. Depressing, too commercialized and immediately followed by January. Yuck! tongue
