there are enough problems that our kids have to worry about without having to worry about those that don't have the sense to stay off the roads when they drink. Call a cab or a friend.

My friend...My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family and I hope for a positive outcome for your step daughter.I was married to an alcoholic that i tried to help but to no avail. So when i found out she was picking up my kids from school while drinking,I got a lawyer and ended a 23 year marriage and helped the only ones that actually wanted my help.....my kids.We are now happy and safe(at least from her)So when i hear a story like this it really gets me fired up.I just wish some of the people that choose to abuse alcohol and/or drugs would stop and think how far the ramifications of their irresponsible actions reach and how many lives that could potentially impact.

I agree with everyone on here. If you drink call a cab or get a ride home. But what really chaps my hide is to walk into Chuckie Cheese, (a family environment for one to bring their children to play) and see the beer taps behind the counter. What's with that!!!!
I could rant on this for hours and you don't know what I think they should do with people who drink and drive.
