THE HANDS OF TIME

You can`t turn back the hands of time, not ever again...As this occured to me,the day before last. I`ll trust God for my future, leaving behind what might have been-in regard to that time of my life, gone forever-my past.....My dreams linger on the heels of days gone by,it seems.Just as a clock with a broken spring that lost it`s power-unwinding all around me,never having those glorious themes.Reality starts with today,to tick away the hour....One must keep track of time, revealing more than a tale or two-walking through the past and starting todays of your own.For all too soon, the hands of the clock of your life will suddenly be withered and sown...God will not grant us more than just a day.Pass this way slowly; breathe deep the earth`s true scent. Why waste what was given freely,we might say.It will all end, without a chance to find out what it all has meant.

Hi Moonkitten,

I am putting on my philosophy hat for this one, so don't take hold of anything that displeases you. (spelling is not a strength so forgive them)

here goes,

my toughs from reading your blog, you appear to be a caring person, a lot of what you are saying strikes me, it is very difficult to maintain a balance in the mind, if it is focused too much in the past, by that I mean to dwell on trying to change it. the future has yet to happen, so your ability to shape it, is possible, it has yet to happen and so it's determined on what you do in the now. living in the now is where the balance is to be found. The meaning of life is a spiritual search, once you have cracked it, it's luster will have changed, it will take on a new meaning. ( The Never ending search)you write that "dreams linger on the heels of days gone by" life is an experience to be enjoyed, reflected upon for guidance, to guide a spirit away from something it doesn't wish to experience and or wishes to experience again. As for time, time is man made, created to distract us to..to create a sense of urgency..to place us some where, to restrict us, the meaning is not what is important, I feel it is the experience's that count and how they develop your perception of life.

my toughs

all the best,

Mikey63
