Baggage claim.

I admire women who consider themselves independent, self starters, you know...been through it and done that attitude.
Now there are some men who may think women such as this would threaten them, challenge them in a uncomfortable way, challenge their manhood in a relationship. And they would be wrong.
Because these are the women who will truly define what it means to be a partner in a relationship.
We are all independent and self starters to a degree. What is unique and set us apart is how we got here and how much baggage did we bring?
And more baggage does not necessarily mean a negative but just the opposite...thanks.wave

I dont get the whole idea of someone who claims that they dont have baggage. What does baggage really mean, can you define it for me? We all have experiences and that is what makes us who we are. it could negative or positive depending on the experience.

baggage is an interesting, if somewhat dubious, term I think for life experience.
baggage contibutes to who we become, how we approach everything
some of it is negative - and hopefully we learn from it
some of it is positive - and hopefully we enhance it

is it that either they are there for a good time, not a long time so don't want to deal with some of the ups and downs of life
or
they want someone who hasn't lived yet - and want to be/are a control freak?

never can figure out anyone who says "no baggage please" - confused what do they actually want?
