A WHITE ROSE

A WHITE ROSE

The red rose whispers of passion,

And the white rose breathes of love;

O, the red rose is a falcons

And the white rose is a dove.

But I send you a cream-white rosebud

Whith a flush on its petal lips;

For the love that is purest and sweetest

Has a kiss of desire on the lips.

RED; Passionate, Romantic Love

PINK; A Lesser Affection than Romantic Love (a good pick for Mothers)

YELLOW; Frienship or Devotion

BLUE ROSES; Traditonally Signify Mystery or Attaining the Impossible. Blue Roses are also believed to be able to grant the owner Youth or Great Wishes.
