Your Little Girl
The waiting is over-a little girl will join your family tree.~With all her future attention,with much cooing and ruffles-Dad may say."WEll,what about me"?~While Mom to be,had added some space in her dresses,the family prepares to clean all the messes.~Later,they`ll take her to the park,to take her for a walk,~They`ll say,"we`ll just pat her hand,and kind of talk".~Maybe Grandma will share some quips and a chore,while grandnpa,will sleep through the news once more!~The friends and neighbors will gather `round-you`ll say the baby`s asleep-don`t make a sound...Then finally,when everyone`s gone home,and your daughter`s awake at two-you settle into a routine of dirty diapers milk bottles,and blankets,too~Still,she`ll grow up in a world of doubts and fears through the years-But she`ll survive,with God`s love.and grace.~And just when you`re down and feeling blue,and your little girl has learned to talk~she`ll say,ever so sweetly,"I love you"....
