Honest descriptions
Okay, I say this as a member who doesn't have a single pic up at the moment, bite me.But seriously, how accurate are the descriptions? How old are the photos? One guy had fab pics and sounded realistic, made me laugh on line, and wanted to meet, so we did. He was much older and shorter and decidedly weirder in person and although we had a good lunch, and we did laugh a lot, he hadn't mentioned the minor drug addiction (!) and no chance.
He just laughed when I asked exactly how many years had passed since he celebrated the 57th birthday on his profile. You look at a profile, he explained, and try to judge how big the pinch of salt is, and if you like talking the rest doesn't matter anyway.
I'm not expecting anyone to say bashfully that their description is baloney and their photographs had to be dusted off before they were put up. But have you met up with people who were barely recognizable from their profiles? Was he right, the way he explained it?

If he would lie about something that obvious, then I could never trust him not to lie about anything else.
I took my photo down because it seemed to attract a lot of time-wasters but now that I'm getting interested in the social side, well, maybe.
I think you need to take those shades off before you post, loads of people HATE it when you get their name wrong!
Thank you for the compliment. Yeah, post your pics!
Scouse, yup, looking for my Rett (sic) Butler.
Quite tricky, this, answering each comment, much easier on FB where you can still see the comments as you reply. Not meaning to miss anyone, I have read every comment with real interest.
Just a bit of fun. There are boring pics as well.
