looking out in the same direction, to me it means a couple have to be "say you, say me".
to see in opposite direction, means when couple have different idea and argue ?

You can say "love is when two people looking at the same direction" but all are a process, who would give more and follow other? Every human is unique. Every identical twins are different but when you ready to give (up) yours and be in his/her way... Then it is love coz separation happen once one of you change the direction of where you go....
