Nice one King......
As for the OP, I still have not yet figured out what the purpose would be to riot or a peaceful protest no matter the verdict, even if no one is telling the truth as to what really happened in the first place. The cops claim one story, the young man with the deceased claims another story, and ALL the witnesses claim completely different stories when interviewed separately.
BUT, only God knows the whole truth and nothing but the truth as to what really happened, and whatever verdict the grand jury brings, what God hands down is final. If there are lies, God will be the one to vindicate and bring justice fairly, according to the deeds committed... matters not how long it takes, justice shall come, no doubts. Nothing changes the fact that a young man's life was cut short out of ignorance on both counts, the cop being gun-happy, and the young man being an African American, not considering with understanding that the rules and laws of engagement and surrendering are different for him as an African American than for other races... i.e.leniency and selective oversight. And the fact that the young man's family members and the cop and his family members, including the police department lives are in an uproar, and have been turned upside down for good reasons or for bad. All are still suffering.
Ignorance is a sin, because it destroys life and hinders personal and societal growth. There is a means to gaining knowledge therefore, there are no excuses for being ignorant in nothing that effects our daily living.
Oh btw, I only know one Auntie Annie and her pretzels are the best! Nom.....Nom.....Nom...
I am afraid this might mimic the LA riots...I hope people will remember this and vote accordingly...I do understand the stress of the job of a police officer but it seems too many are trigger happy and afraid...Micheal Moore's documentary examined the fear among the citizens of the US...just another way to look at challenging the way we think...
Askins (who may have been our last real gunfighter) spent a few years in the 1930s as a Border Patrolman and allegedly got in a different gun battle every week before becoming their chief of firearms training and later joining the Army for WW2, Korea and Vietnam and retiring to San Antonio.
And I don't appreciate the way that fool, er, cop shot up that kid so many times. Any decent police would not have over-reacted like that. Proof there was something wrong with him.
