Very truly I tell you,
John 8:51-59
51 "..., Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”
52 At this they exclaimed, “Now we know that you are demon-possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that whoever obeys your word will never taste death. 53 Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the prophets. Who do you think you are?”
54 Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. 55 Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”
57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”
58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

Last time we have Shanaz, she is like you... Posting religion thing on blog..
Thank you for reading Gospels on my blogs. Before, in the past, I used to think the Bible is very dry and boring for me to read it, but since I started the whole New Testament book, THE WHOLE ... I mean start reading from page beginning of the book, and read, do not miss any letters of introduction and preface of the book before going to St. Matthew. It is the opening chapter of the book, which is very important and very interesting to read, but some people did not pay attention. Then, I was excited to read the entire New Testament to the last page. Not only read once, but several times. I do not know how to describe ... can only say that the Bible is so great! And sorry for those who have not had the opportunity to read the Bible. I have also read the Old Testament, but not all, but enough for me to realize that it is related to the New Testament, and it is also very interesting and valuable.
... By the way, I love your sense of humor, the same of Robert and Angel.
Thanks for your reading and commenting
Who is "Shanaz"?
And why you call Gentlejim in here?
Thank you for your wonderful comment
Yes, "Jesus is the great I AM!" Never has any character confident enough to declare as Jesus did "I AM"
God bless.
You know, I have never read the Bible yet. From how you describe it, it almost motivates me to want to grab it and start reading.
Love you!
P/s: My English is not much to write, hopefully it doesn't make you get a headache
People look at jesus as the creator, the one who wrote the bible, or ancient law book
But good or bad, it still is what happened in time honestly at that time. "Honesty", which is one of the advantages found in the Bible, right?
Btw, I really admire your deep understanding on aspects of knowledge you have, what I have read your comments on the blogs.
P/s: Please understand ...., my English is not good, thanks so much.
Oh! Ian! like your name writen Ian (not ian), we write

Yes, Jesus is God really.
Thanks you for the compliment and for the information about Sharnah. Someday when they recognize the greatness of Jesus, they will thank Sharnah.
