How To Inherit The Kingdom Of God

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus,a ruler of the Jews.
This man came to Jesus by night and said to him,
"Rabbi,we know that you are a teacher come from
God;for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him."
Jesus answered and said to him,"Most assuredly,I say to you, unless one is born again,he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Nicodemus said to Him,"How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again.' (John 3:1-7)

Hope that this verse will
help you all with ur spiritual life n god bless

Hi Greattaste,

Those verses are some of my favorites from the bible!

Verse 8 says: "The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."
I think spirituality is an ability in every day to see signs of existence supreme, to trust and strengthen it that as fire, to transfer love and light to people. The understanding comes directly from heart, it gives the chance to perceive all events with good and compassion, and in it - the huge force of a spiritual maturity, our spiritual balance extending for the whole world.

Well I also didnt know about being a born again christain until I was told about it but I also believe that inheriting the kingdom of god is not just about becoming a born again christain by getting yourself baptized with water and the holy spirit but i believe that we also need to become an obedient christian by hearing and doing the word of God as it says in (John 14:15) If you love Me keep My commandments and ONE of the greatest commandment is that we love one another just as Christ have loved us. (John 15:12)
So what does ...eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth mean ?
It does not mean we need to repay evil for evil because if you read Matthew 5:39
It says"But I tell you not to resist an evil person.
But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.

Ian:So what does ...eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth mean?"

Eye for an eye, this was under the Old Testament law of retaliation, which put the law into the hands of the person and allowed a person to properly punish a person according to what the person had done to him/her... (example): if I killed your chicken (s), you by the law of retaliation, you have the right to kill my cow (s), evil for evil. We are no longer under the Old Law, Jesus fulfilled the old law when He came to earth to die for our sins. We are under grace through repentance and forgiveness, the old law shows us our wrongs and sins and brings us to repentance. Jesus is preaching the Beatitudes, how we should be now under the law of grace.

Eye for an eye means Go the Second Mile Do Not Retaliate
“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. Matthew Chapter 5:38-48

Love Your Enemies This is Grace
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers and sisters only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors (sinners) do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect."

Expect God To Repay The Enemy Back For You
"Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore, If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Says, the Lord. Romans chapter 12:17-21.
So let me understand this,

God told moses to pass on this message, or he made it up, and the same goes for Jesus. God told jesus to re-phrase it.

So god changed his mind ? correct ?
love your enemies ?....so where do christians stand when it comes to isis, Muslims..

What do you Christians think you should do ..love them ? or see them dead..eye for an eye ?
