I play a bit, the issue is not determining the chords - ze net is full of song copies, with the chords as below. So, you'll always find them & you can listen to the original songs on YouTube to know the rhythm & beat.
Most learner's problems are the strumming...or the strum patterns?
Once you start strumming correctly, you'll develop an ear for music fast and will be able to identify chords as you listen.
