Deaf Dog

I have a deaf dog and i think we
have reach a dead end with his training.

Any tips? dancing dog

Kneel to your dog..come down to his level and he will be more confidant
Depends on what training you want him to do. I had a deaf cat, and her deafness didn't bother her at all, she successfully substituted it with feeling of vibration, vision, smelling, all other feelings were much more developed.. But of course she never brought me my shoes or anything like that laugh
I think my next door neighbour's cat is deaf. She's taken to laying in my dog's kennel whilst my Jack Russell barks her little heart out.

visual hand signals. Used a lot with military attack dogs so it isn't new. Palm down for sit, etc. That said, foot stamp to get it's attention. Often it can feel that. Of course also, gentle touch, then the palm gesture needed for the situation.
