Shallow Confession
Height plays such a big part for me when making decisions about which person I might agree to meet.This strikes me as crazy since it makes absolutely no difference when I become engaged with a person in the flesh.
This is not to say I wouldn't meet a shorter friend I've met on here but the visual thought of dating a person shorter than myself seems to put me off.
My brother is very short and he's been married to his much taller wife for over 40yrs so, as I said, I have no problem in real life but the virtual man I see as needing to be taller than myself.
I have no problems with disabilities either and I think that if my virtual man were to be wheelchair bound I would see as less of a problem. I'm beginning to think that there must be something wrong with me.
Do you have any issues that turn you away from dating someone you've talked to online?

Like you, I like my man to be tall. The father of my kids is almost a six footer. I'm only 5'4", unfortunately
The current man I'm dating is only 5'6" and that might pose a problem if I have my 4" heels on
However, my fears were unfounded when I got to finally meet him....last thing on my mind was his height coz I was too busy imagining his hands all over me

height is the first thing i check out in a mans profile, i love a tall man, 6ft 2" is ideal..
someone too over weight or someone too skinny.
Red heads are another turn off, but men my age are normally greying, so the older i get that issue is fading

but why bring out a blog asking about our shallow confessions if your going to come out with that line when we confess them
I have spoken to a number of men on cs. Either on cs mail or skype.
I start at first being interested then I just want him as a friend if he is ok.
Then nothing happens after that.
Two wanted to see me on camera and until I feel comfortable with him which has not happened yet its nogo.

Yes, tome it is important that the person must have a pleasant voice. I won't reply to a PM if she does not have a good voice.
