Does friends with benefits constitute a relationship?
I wouldn't be interested if there wasn't. wave
Aren't you getting a bit emotinal these days!
the answer to your question is' YES'
I have friends with benefits that been a relatioship for 15 years.
What sort of question is this?
A trick question?
How can you ask this?
Of course you need emotions to have a relationship!
Unless you are a robot or sth!
Definitely...grin

Just goes to show friends with benefits works for some people, despite many blogs condemning this situation.

I ask this question because many people have suggested that a large number of men are not emotional in their relationships, or do not need to feel emotions to have a relationship.
It depends on what type of relationship and emotion you are referring to. I assume you are talking about love?
Many people are quite happy to have a comfortable relationship with their partner and only need companionship. They are not necessarily in love but merely like one another. Sometimes it is enough to just have someone to talk to and spend time with.conversing
@ Sol

You surprise me. Of course men have 'feelings'

but you can't make a thing happen, it just has to be there!

cheers

Are feelings the same as emotions?
Feelings are felt and emotions are expressed in some way.

confused
You have to first feel in order to express an emotion.
If someone is a narcissist, relationships sans emotions for the other person are a given.
Not for a liaison, no. Go for it.

Every interaction with another person is a 'relationship' - you can have an uneasy relationship with your colleagues. Are you talking, as so often these days, about lurve? heart wings

One of the saddest things is when people want a liaison but feel they have to pretend emotions to turn it into a faux relationship. Instead they muck up what was simple, uncomplicated, potentially good and could have grown naturally into something real. dunno

Don't make that mistake.
Hi Ian. Any latest pics to drool over ?
i would say yes
That is to say that an abusive and one-sided relationship with a monster is technically still a relationship
and how did you work that out..done your own survey ?
