To Start Out With...There Was A traffic Jam On 81 South In Pennslyvania..No One moved For At Least An Hour..An Elderly Couple In A Van Drove off to The Side And Took Out Their Lawn Chairs..And Had A Seat(they had The right Idea)I Also Came Across A "Caboose" In A Small Village In Indiana..Well Preserved And Written On it was "New York Central Railway"
In Illinois Theres a Sign That Says"Low Flying Airplanes"..."What Are We Supposed To do About That? And for That Matter..What Can We Do?..Nothing
At A reat Area There was A Butterfly..About 4 Inches Wing Span Sitting On the ground..I Put my Finger near him And he climbed on..I looked At him At eye Level And he seemed Not To Mind..Then..He flew Away..(How trusting he Was)
Another Sign Says "Obey The Speed Limit"
Hah!..That Was a Stupid Sign..People dont give A damn About What it Says!In "Madison Illinois They Have A Well preserved WW1 Tank In The center of The village(And All Covered In Graffiti

I Went by 2 Guys In handcuffs..Their Tractor trailer With The Doors Open And A Cop Inside Taking Pictures..(Drug Bust Id say)
I had To Go To Madison Wisconsin..Thought maybe id see "Gentle Jim" Walking Along The Side walk(hes from Wisconsin)..But nope..No Jimmy Boy To be seen Anywhere
Another Sign Said.."No Use of Engine Brakes Allowed"..I Dont Know Why Its There..Theres nothing Around Except A cemetery
And here They Come..A Black Horse..A Black carriage..And A Black hat..Lightly Snapping The rains ..Its An Armish Guy ..Slowly Clopping Along The Side Of The Highway
And The Armish Womwn Ride bicycles And wear A black Dress To The Ankles And A White Bonnet(To each His Own I guess).They Are everywhere On Route 20 In Indiana.. I Also saw A horse And Wagon At The Fuel Pump At A gas Station..(Strange Indeed)
Ssssometimes I Wonder Whats Worst..Winter Weather driving?..Or ROAD WORK?!!!(Theres Nothing but roaqd Work..Everywhere)
Another SZign Says "Speed Checked By Air Craft"...Is There Really Someone up There Doing That?..I Rather Doubt That
Theres The Housatonic River..Mad River(Wonder how it got That name)..Wallkill River..Sawkill Creek..Clarion River..The Alleghenny.Maumee River..And the huron River
And lastly...Whats That up Ahead??!!!..As I Drive Closer I see its A ground Hog On All Fours Ready To Dash Across the highway..But he hesitates As he Sees me I Guess..I Go by..And In The mirror I se The Little guy Race Across To The other Side...I Would think he Must be A veteran

This time out I Went Through Connecticut(9S)(95 South)(And 84West)t..New york(84 West)Penn(81 South)Penn (80West)Ohio(80 West)And Turnpike..Indiana(22 West)All The way..Illinois(90 West)(55)(290) (94)(39 North)Into Wisconsin..And various other Side State Routes...And Every Last one of Them Is Doing road Work.....I Cant wait For Winter...When it WEill All Desist

We cant Work no more Than 70 Hours A Week
And to get A fresh 70 Hours
We have to Take At Least 34 Hours To reset the 70 Hour Clock..........................

The Crows Are so Used To vehicles That When They Are Seen On The highway;;And Eating On Road Kill..They Walk Away Just Zenough So They Wont get Run Over..As other birds Will Fly Away
Come to Think of it;;Ive seen All kinds of dead birds Along The highway..Even Hawks A few times
But never Have i seen A dead crow yet.....................................................................................
