My Opinion Of Yesterday's (Sat) Games
Concerning 2 games played yesterday:#3 Alabama Tide vs #20 Wisconsin Badgers and
#6 Auburn Tigers vs (N/R) Louisville Cardinals
#3 Alabama's game win over #20 Wisconsin, of 35 to 17, was more of a triumphal game contest than the #6 Auburn game win over the "non ranked" Louisville, of 31 to 21....! I mean, come on people!
There was an 18 point spread between the Tide & Badgers!
There was a 7 point spread between the Tigers & Cardinals!
Alabama played against a "ranked" team, and Auburn played against a "non ranked" team, wow, Auburn had a really tough competition... (yea right)... Auburn should of had a larger spread with their "non ranked" opponent... Right? So, with the spread of only 7 points, what is the big "hoopla" with that? The fact that they "won" against a "non ranked" team? Same "celebratory hoopla" when Auburn plays against the "Girl Scouts"? Would there be a single point spread there too? I imagine so... But this scenario is used to get my point across.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Auburn won their game, and they were expected to win by double digits, but that turned out to be a single digit... which indicated that their opponent was better at the game than expected. If the game was that close (7 points), should Auburn even be ranked at #6, shouldn't they be lower in the ranks, or maybe Louisville be moved up the list?
Just saying, this is my opinion, and with 75?, I could probably get a cup of coffee.
