Compulsory Blogging.
This is my first blog - so please be gentle with me!While perusing posts on the blogs, I have noticed how member's personalities become exposed over time. It seems to me, that this sort of interaction is a much better way of getting to know someone, rather than just by profile alone.
Members can hide their true personality in a profile, or even when communicating by email with other members on the site. However, blogging has a way of revealing that which might otherwise be hidden.
With that in mind, would it not be a good idea to make it compulsory, to post at least one blog every couple of weeks/months? That way, other members can read the blogs and find out a lot more about someone they may be interested in. It would certainly weed out the scammers!
Just a thought!

from ones character from what is posted on this site, especially
over a period of time. It certainly peaks my interest in the
few, or the one.
I have in fact put in my profile that if people want to know more about me they should read my blogs!
However, I don´t think they can even read the profile, let alone the blogs!
Maybe they are not interested in reading or are "selective" readers?
Then I get some stupid emails saying "Hello/Hi dear, hows your day? Tell me more...
As for my sister Lucy here, you would think that butter wouldn't melt in her mouth the way she is talking!
Not only does it do all those things but also teaches you about yourself in order to comment you have to have an opinion, quite often on things you've never given a seconds thought to
I propose we let Bob make the blog rules
The first blog is the sweetest....
What you say is true. It makes you think and joining in can give you a feeling of self-worth. I have seen shy people in real life, being drawn into discussion and suddenly blossoming as a result. It is good for the soul.
Thanks! I'm very much comfortable here
Has anyone here ever been interested in someone and then upon reading their posts, been completely turned off, or vice versa?
Business, as I am in a real encounter Who else
would take a selfie of their Bum.
I think that eventually, the real person is revealed in their posts. I have certainly seen it here!
Upon my exit here, I shall show them my exit.
I hate to be rude to pedal, but, his current pic is the pic your looking for!
put a Diaper on your Head.
I did like the return taunt about the nappy! (thats what we call diapers this side of the Atlantic!)
I'm blunt, upfront, people person and happy person in real life too.
It is just how my parents raised me to be I continued to use the tools that they both provide me to use throughout my life and will continue to use obviously until the day I pass away.
So, in light of your observations, how many people have "blotted their copybook" from your original perceptions?
Likewise, have you warmed to anyone from the way they blog?

Hi Cc. Yes, I'm the same. But don't you think that some people reveal their true selves on the blogs, no matter how hard they try to conceal it they eventually let something slip and you see them in a different light?
Pieceofcake,No there are times when I don't think that some people reveal their true selves in the blogs.I think that it is all about on how they choose to conduct themselves. They obviously feel safe hiding so to speak behind their computer screens and can display any behavior they choose to.
Some people are good actors.lol
I have often wondered if those same people would ever be as brave to say to someones face as they do in the blogs.
It's obvious that people can portray anything, anyone they choose to.
My point exactly, as expressed earlier in this blog.
