Hi Aalterboy,One of my older brothers who had served during the Korean War proposed to a lady from Japan but she had refused to leave her parents. When he got back to the states he always kept a picture of her and the ring he had given her. The watch he had bought her and which he hadn't given it to her yet as a wedding gift he gave that to our mother. He never married. It became obvious to me that he must've really loved her.

It would had been neat to have had a Japanese sister-in-law.
The term " foreigner " is in reality just a social/political form of elitism . I have in my life met and had some form of relationship with lots of women both " domestic " and " foreign " . The only conclusion I can draw from it is that people are basicly the same all over the world . There customs and mannerisms may differ but the individual person acts much the same as any other . . . .flirty shimmy flirty

It is what we have in common is what is important, not the differences.
