UGH!

I've had it with Christians thinking they know me!!

SERIOUSLY! F*. OFF!

You have no idea what background I've had. And all of you come up to me, trying to guarantee that "God" will fix all of my problems. FIRST OF ALL, I have no problems, Other than not having a girlfriend and being sick right now, my life is perfect. I have goals and my life is matching up to meet them.

I'm educating myself! I'm not involved in anything unproductive! I don't want to get pregnant (if I do its abortion time D<) yet!!! And, in general, I'm a very polite person in public!

But I'm getting slightly sidetracked. My point is, stop assuming you know me. Stop assuming that you have the answer (or your god(s)). Stop assuming thst if I'm not for something I'm against it and vice verca. Because people who thing the world is black & white need a serious wake-up call. It's not. Things are more complex than most people choose to understand!

I understand that and I'm a godless heathen, youngster who's about to turn 19!! IT'S PRETTY SAD HOW SOME ADULTS, STILL, DON'T GET THIS!!!!!

As much as you may think you know, you can't know at 19. As you go trough life you'll understand a little more, that our place in the universe does have a structure, regardless of religious believes.
Just imagine that we are a little tiny peace of a whole.
It is not a matter of believing, it's a mater of accepting that we know nothing yet about the universe. Give yourself a chance and make the best of it, with what you got.
Never worry about who believes what, it's you that counts the most, in the scheme of things.

I just wanted to say as a christian that I am truly sorry you get so much crap. Noone has the right to tell another person how to live their life or how to solve their problems in life.

Also you are doing great for your age dont be discouraged you seem to have worked out the life that you are happy with, you have set yourself golas as you say and I do sincerely wish you all the best with your future

As an ordained, non-denominational minister who has walked a similar path to yours when I was your age, I can fully understand where you are coming from. It's weird, but I've never felt the need to prostheletize to others about Christianity. That's just not my thing, plus it's invading another person's space and/or belief system. It should be about respect and dignity. I have friends of many faiths, from Christian to Muslim to Agnostic to Pagan. My closest friends on this plane are Pagans.

When I was 19, everyone from my parents to my boss was trying to tell me how to live my life, forgetting that only I can live my life.Eventually, they saw that I was going to do as I chose and thankfully, life has turned out pretty darn well all in all. I cannot guarantee that God will fix all of your problems today, next week, next month, next year or even ten years from now. I can't make make any guarantees about anything. Life just doesn't work that way. But what I can tell you is that eventually things do get better. grin

May all of your dreams come true!

Good Luck! hug

Thanks for the support. Lol. Even though it was kinda hard to read because of no "?", ",", ".", or "!" I appreciate you having my back. :]

But in all seriousness,

Thank you. Right now, you have officially gone on my list of "Christians I don't hate."

You seem nice and non-judgmental. I appreciate that since it's hard to come by, especially amongst Christians.

Thank you. :]

reply to AnAngel:

Thank you for expressing that you know where I'm coming from.

It's good to know I'm not alone on people trying to make me live what I don't want to. Even though we have different beliefs I do respect you for coming out and exposing yourself for the sake of relating to me and sharing with me to make me feel better.

Thank you :]
