Oh, where to start..... Many hunters practice CONSERVATION. Do you know what that is? It's the legal hunting with a special hunting tag to hunt one specific animal. Just one.So that the population does not become too large, because if it does, it's far worse than anything a hunter could do. The animals overpopulate, food becomes scare to non- existant and they starve, plus diseases will finish them off. It's very ugly. Hunting helps keep the population healthy and that's what you want so children can see the wild animals, right? I'm not a big proponent of hunting, but I do enjoy stalking (following), watching and recording their behavior to report to the DNR (Department of Natural Resources). Did you know that deer (venison) and bison meat is pure protein? Just ask Ted Nugent!
Zoos practice stringent breeding programs so that animals can be released back into the wild and to help educate people about them.
I can understand your frustration, but complaints do no good.Instead, be a conservationist. Set up a wildlife habitat where you live. Get friends involved to help you if you really want to make a difference.
As for rape, kidnap and murder, sadly those are a part of society's ills.
