Yes, it can...I have seen the power of love in my life...my parents are a good example. But I think the challenge for all of us is to differentiate between romantic love, (idealistic love) and "real" love, ie mature love. Most of us don't have a good understanding of what love is, or should be until we get older....and by that stage, it's often too late to benefit from that wisdom..

Love is a wonderful thing, and anyone who pursues it has good motives. But the only thing that cleans us from sin is The Holy Spirit, please keep that in mind and keep loving amen. But natural love can't clean us from sin, only His love can and that is found in His Spirit.

It's an interesting thing to talk about. When we talk about love, and especially about mature love, i think it's hard to find girls who wants mature love and not idealistic love.
Personnally, i think mature love is the best, but it's harder to find.
