I have found that it is quite easy to love someone, but not be able to trust them usually because they were caught lying to you about certain aspects of their lives or for indiscretions. This is also possible when you loved one person who betrayed you badly so when someone else comes along all their love is not enough to keep you from wondering if they will do the same thing to you.

I loved someone who lied and lied all the time to me. Finally it got to the point I could no longer believe or trust him any longer. I had to break it off. I still love him and miss him, I just will never trust him again. So, I'd say yes, it is possiable to love someone and still not trust that person. Nice topic to share. I am sorry if you got hurt. its very common man,u love a woman u dont trust or trust a woman u dont love,it happens alot,but to find a woman to love,trust,care&cherrish her is really difficult.

but (MY opinion) when some time pass ..and i already knew that person and i know for sure she /he (a person) lie to me many times .....well than love disappear ,maybe is strange for some of us ..,for me is so ! tha't mean i can not trust you anymore ... conseguence : there is no respect betwenn 2 people , so why love ? love is many things toghether , not just physical attraction !

VERY Possible. I was just in that situation about 2 weeks ago. I wanted to trust my ex so bad, but he was not willing to put in the effect to gain my trust back. So it ended.
It hurts like hell, but the not trusting and keep wondering if he is doing it again hurts so much more.

I think that it is possible to love the person you ONCE trusted. Like lingering feelings or Hope.. I dont think you can BE with someone you no longer trust but if you truely love them, that feeling of love will never go away.. or so i've heard!
