THE THIRD OF JULY!

frustrated
HELLOOOO
TO DAY IS THE THIRD OF JULY,YET SOME THINK IT IS A HOLIDAY TO TAKE OFF FROM WORK,AND PARTY HMMMM.
FOR AS LONG AS CAN REMMBER THERE IS A ONE DAY HPOLIDAY IN JULY,AND IT FALLS ON THE FOURTH OF JULY,AND IT IT STARTED WHEN
MAN BY THE NAME OF THOMAS JEFFERSON SAID THAT THIS DAY SHOULD BE REMMBERED WITH CANNON AND FIREWORKSFOR ALL TIME TO COME.
OH YES HE DOES CALL FOR A PARTY,BUT NOT THE THIRD ,OR FIFTH OF JULY,BUT THE FORTH OF JULY.
IT IS OK TO HAVE YOUR PARTY ON ANY DAY YOU LIKE,THAT IS WHAT OUR FOR FATHERS LAID DOWN THIER LIVES FOR,JUST DO NOT LET THE REAL DATE BE CHANGED ,OR IT MAY BE JUST A DAY TO HAVE OFF,OTHER THEN WHAT IT IS MEANT TO BEhappy birthday burger thanks

People are just looking for any reason to party. Poor Americans, they have virtually no vacations, so they "steal" one day here, one day there...
So, don't be too hard on the slackers. BTW, why don't you take an extra day off? You probably deserve it.

For myself it is just another day of the week. While my sons and their families are camping or whatever I am still doing what needs to be done, shopping and cleaning. If my little girl goes with them then it is a day I can get things done and have a little down time for myself. No fireworks, no partying or even a date. It is what it is. grin
