The trick to doing it on a grill is to soak the ears (husks on) in water for 'bout 1/2 hour before putting them on the grill (again, husks left on).
The heat forms steam within the husks...kinda a mix of toasted/steamed corn.
When done, peel back the husks and you have a convenient 'handle' for eating it. grin
Just ain't Summer without it, you betcha! smitten

Hey Mimi, always ate corn this way ehen I libed in Japan and still do it now on the BBQ ( although I'm hopeless and often burn it..haha)

This is a delicious way to prepare corn. I like to add spicey spices with lots of butter. Yummy!peace

It's much more wonderful if eating when it's raining, listening to some soft music, sitting next to someone who you could talk anything in your life with!! Or maybe just listen to music and thinking about some good dreams.... I think it's so romantic! Isn't it? :)
