Fake success stories
So, how do you know that, at least, some of the success stories aren't fake!I mean, have you met anyone in person who's had success on a dating site and married?
Same goes for the lottery: how many lottery winners have you met lately?

They have been together for a couple of years now.
Just not married
I stand corrected!!
As far as successes on dating sites? I have a friend who is married almost 10 years to a guy she met on a dating site.
Most did get married afterwards
I actually replaced him working in a hotel when I was in college.
He won a cool quarter mill, but kept his job.
One week he was eating beans on toast. The next he was buying a brand new house. Life's a trip.
But I figure dating sites are like a lottery, you ll never win, if you don t buy a ticket. Once you buy a ticket, you do have an opportunity to dream about winning,
how would you define 3 marriages?
A guy who used to be a very active and popular blogger here met and married his wife through CS, I'm not sure when one can say it was a success - only after 50 years? But they are very happy, a couple years down the line.
It is because a friend of mine, at 65, met the ideal woman for him (62) on a singles website (not this one) that I even thought of it. Three years for them now, they spend holidays and weekends together and seem blissfully happy with the arrangement.
Buying a lottery ticket doesn't make you a winner, joining a website doesn't guarantee a love match. But - all together now - got to be in it to win it.
