An umbrella

This story happend on one of my old neighbor friend.

He came back from aboard to look after his old, sick mom who had an operation in the hospital. So he went to there twice everyday. One day it began to rain before he went out , as he didn't know where his mom's umbrella(s) was hidden. He went to his next door neighbor to borrow. His neighbor looked at him and said;" who are you? I don't recognize you?" my friend replied:" I am your neighbor, I live aboard , you should know my mom...” So his neighbor gave his unbrella.handshake

He felt satisfied to take it. But he never knew what happened next. On the half way home, a hard wind broken this umbrella, and he had to buy a new one to return back to his neighbor... doh

We have bright sunny skies this summer . Hope all of you have a good mood!

His neighbor accept new umbrella or not
here continue rainy weather
That always seems to happen to me when I borrow stuff. So I rarely borrow stuff anymore.

I live in the State of Arizona right on the California and Nevada border and the skies are always clear except for an occasional rain storm and I am having a great day!!

And enjoy your shining summer over there and take care!bouquet
I'm thinking something might be lost in the translation of this story, but either way, the mystery makes it more intriguing.
Hi,rockingchair;

Please what mystery in this story? confused we lived in the same neighborhood plus old colleagues between our fathers many years ago. So our two families knew each other for more than 30 years till now.I once helped his old mom (now 94yrs) much cos she lived alone at home all the time...
handshake
My mistake. I did not understand this was your personal story. I thought this was a story shared by many, with a lesson in it. I read it wrong, you did not write it wrong.

It's nice you helped his aging mother thumbs up
