1) If the relationship isn't on mutual grounds one person can try too hard to make it work
2) Actually no, if I feel someone isn't interested in a relationship as in building up a life together with me, I wouldn't even enter into one.
3) I usually cop on quickly and don't get involved in the first place.
4) Don't think it's a gender thing - if they like someone, they try to ignore what someone says or how they behave. Doesn't usually work.
5) Take my time to get over it.
Take your time to get to know someone, talk beforehand what is important to you and only get involved if you are on the same page.
I suppose one of my down falls is Iam one of those guys who is all in when I start falling in love. Giving it your best is how I live my life in all area's. I only have a hand full of freinds but there the best freinds a person could have. We would do anything for each other in a heart beat especially when the chips are down.
To the comments about toughing up you might be glad to know I was the one who broke it off after 1 1/2 years of trying .....
