Am I just not getting it?

I have been blogging for a while now.
I put my heart and soul into what I write, my oddities do come across loud and clear but I'm true to myself.
What I don't understand is the amount of crazy angry blogs going on in this place.....
Do people not realize a potential partner can read their info?
Calling other members out, ranting about this and that.
Now a blog is personal, a reflection of you, well that's what I view a blog to be. If that is the case, there is a fuckload of angry people on CS.
Also, I see these angry Grrrr Oscar the Grouch blogs get a lot of replies. Often they are poorly written, badly posed and I just don't get it!
It's the reason I haven't blogged in a while. I try to write as best I can, provide humor and possibly even a little insight. I enjoy reading blogs that do the same and am often the only one to comment on such blogs that are actually worthy of comment.
It's a pity really than the negative blogs receive the most attention.
I still write daily, just testing the waters in regard to posting a blog up here.
I just wish people would try to be a bit more cheerful, write more in depth and about a broader spectrum of topics.
Rather than getting fucked off over someone blocking you, not replying to you etc.
Blogs that give us an idea of who you are, I for one thoroughly enjoy getting to know people on here, seeing different writing styles, different subjects.... I know that I'm not the only one who is disillusioned by the inane, aggressive and shallow posts.

Where's the frickin love?

People love drama and some are addicted to it. More people tune into the news then any other TV show...why, we love people's dirty laundry.

And the world is filled with angry people, all complaining while they are the reason they are so miserable and why there are wars and starving children.

Be a flower in a field of weeds, stick out and be who YOU are. NO matter what anyone believes, believe in YOU, truly that is all that matters.

You write beautifully and never, never give that up for anyone.

I don't really know what a blog is but that's probably cause I'm old school! lol!!

I couldn't agree more. I love reading your blogs because they are always positive not to mention a lot of fun to read. Ignore the negative ones and keep blogging is what i say. We need more blogs like yours wave

Way to be GWSTW !

Don't let the demons pull you down. (BTW, I really like the 'Guardian Angel" picture of the guy who posted before me, but that is another topic.)

I just think life gets some people down, and they become frustrated and angry, without even realizing how they are acting and thinking. The 7 deadly faults, one of which is unjustified WRATH. Very dangerous to hold and carry that around.

Attitude is everything really. We all just have to try to maintain an attitude of gratitude, and life will be a lot sweeter. Joy can be found anytime of the day, in any moment; an enchanted moment, if you are open to it.

So, GWSTW, thank you for posting your thought. If even one angry person begins to become aware of how they are feeling and relating, you will have accomplished a potentially great thing.

You are absolutely right. Everyone is so content being angry and bitter, it's like people don't even want to be happy anymore. I wouldn't take it personally though. It's like the news...everyone dwells on bad news and can't remember what the good news was...wait...that's right, there WASN'T any good news.

I read very few blogs, but have come across a few that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up because what was posted was born from incredible ignorance and self-righteousness, esp. the political or economic stuff. I've concluded that the people who write garbage have nobody to talk to - They probably say the same things they post here, nobody wants to hear their rants, so they blog it... and then they're surprised why they're not finding anyone doh
Where's the love? I don't know, but I hope that some of these people find it.

Point of clarification: "blog" is short for weblog... a logging of the web. For example if you find a cool link, share it and write bout it that's a weblog or "blog".

If you share your heart and soul, that's a journal.

You have a journal, not a blog.

blogs are here for a reason for people 2 share opinion,whatever they may b,and its up 2 the individual to act as they seem right for the,u cannot judge peoples intentions when u dont know them..in life like in here their is the good bad and the ugly..somethin u gota get used to if u log on....doh good luck...
