My turn!!

Today was a beautiful day! My son and I took a trip to Mabry Mills off the Parkway in Virginia and then drove the Parkway to Fancy Gap and home. I love days like this!

Thank you, Rob. This is a beautiful place that we went to. This time of the year, when the leaves are changing, people come from all over to visit here and drive the Parkway and see the scenery. We got on the Parkway going home and drove it within a few miles of my home. We also live in a popular area for visitors this time of the year because we are up on top of the mountain. It is truly beautiful.

Thank you, Prof. I am most happy when I'm out in nature. That's why I told my son to get in the Jeep and let's go today. I really wanted to go hiking, but my daughter wasn't in the mood and my son said he doesn't do hikes.

There are so many places to go hiking around here but I don't want to go by myself.

Oh Molly, the Parkway is just breathtaking. It goes through several states. It's more or less a lot of mountains. I love the mountains. It's maintained by the state, I believe.

Prof, the few girlfriends that I had don't live around here and they were always busy with their husbands and didn't have time for me, anyway. I usually try to drag my son and daughter with me everywhere I go. Sometimes they act more grown up than me.

I am reading the comments and I have this little smile on my face. I just notice myself smiling. It's quite pleasing to see someone happy...

Maybe one day you'll have a husband of your own so you can get him to come along but for now relish the idea of having a son and daughter you can call upon..

One day they'll have their own family but then you'll never miss out cause you'll have your grand kids to spend a few beautiful scenery with.

Prof, I took one of those quiz's on Facebook the other day that predicts when you will be married. It said 2019.

I get a kick out of those things. Maybe I will, who knows.

My daughter and I are looking for another concert to go to here soon. We feel the need to kick up our heals a tad.

DC, I was going to try to tell ya how but every way that I type it, it won't show you what you need to know. I know they have it somewhere on here that tells you how to do it, or at least they used to. I don't know now that they've made these changes. I have to upload my pictures to Photobucket to get the url, though.
