What to do on a Friday? What to do??????????
For many years, I was out of the social scene, having to work third shift, but I still remember those times.. Now that I have retired, I decided to take a moment to reflect on that that period of my life..
As my parents used to say girls get "gussied-up,", guys get "duded up", pardon the vernacular, I have been out of the linguistic circuit for a while... Then they all go out for a great time, and for everyone there is something to do..It is the WEEKEND!!!after all.. As it should be!!
As for myself, I took time out tonight, to sit in the backyard, watch the sun set, watch the birds catching mosquitoes, meantime, keeping an eye out for one of the family pets, Piper, a three-year
old miniature Dachshund, as she chased away all the demons, imagined or otherwise, making the yard safe for all of us,she thinks ANYWAY!!!... (Works for me!)
