I like that song because it should remind us that at some stage we were all immigrants, if not us our ancestors were.

Hello Seri That is very true , but the pakistani s who went to work in London and U.K. worked very hard and eventually started up little corner shops... basic 24 hour shops, they had to run on tight budgets and their families all helped with the unsociable hours. There was not so much hatred back then of immigrants.

Going home to London, I loved going by Boat, I took the Cambria, Hibernia then, very old rocky boats that went from left to right. Most of the platform workers on all the stations from Holyhead to Victora Station in London were african, sweeping the platforms in neat unforms, and some had become ticket masters.

People came to work. To give something back to the country who took them in, educated their children, let them practice their religions, Nowadays it is abit different. Whilst I would always welcome anyone new.... it is fiscally impossible and not good for them either to come here, drive nice modern cars, stay in apartments and nice houses with the help of the authorites . I see NO poverty or anything like it here amongst those who decided to come here....

Infact, they don't drive jalopies, their hair is always done so well and their clothes too....
